Nelvana Adds 14 Trucktown Licensing Agents

TORONTO: Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has added 14 new licensing agents to represent its CGI-animated preschool brand Trucktown across Asia, the Middle East and beyond.

The new partners include Agosin Licensing (Chile), AMV Licensing (Peru, Bolivia), Arabian Licensing Company (the Middle East), Big Star (Caribbean countries), B-Rights Iberia (Spain, Andorra), LDI (Israel) and Empire Multimedia Corporation (South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India). These companies will represent the brand with a wide-ranging consumer-products program.

Additional partners on board the brand are Exim Character Licenciamento e Marketing (Brazil), Exim Colombia Licensing (Colombia, Ecuador), Exim Representaciones Mexico (Mexico), francetv distribution (France), MON Licensing (Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama), Super RTL (Germany, Austria, German-speaking Switzerland), and Exim Argentina (Eximtrading) in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Trucktown is among the brands Nelvana is showcasing at Licensing Expo 2016.

Trucktown is based on a book series by children’s author Jon Scieszka (The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales). The show follows the adventures of a group of rough-and-tumble young trucks.
