More Big Nate for Nickelodeon & Paramount+

Nine new episodes of Big Nate are slated to debut on Nickelodeon on August 22 and will be available to stream on Paramount+ on September 3.

From Nickelodeon Animation, Big Nate follows the titular sixth grader as he finds ways to turn trouble into fun. The new episodes continue his adventures as he follows his dream to become a singer, saves a pregnant lizard and more.

In addition to this new batch of episodes, ten more have been ordered to the previously announced second season, which will debut in 2023. Season two will dive deeper into the back stories of Nate’s friends, introduce his grandparents and more.

Big Nate is executive produced by Mitch Watson (All Hail King Julien) and John Cohen (The Angry Birds Movie) and produced by Amy McKenna (Beware the Batman), with Bridget McMeel as co-producer. Lincoln Peirce serves as consultant throughout development and production.

The voice talent includes Ben Giroux, Dove Cameron, Rob Delaney, Bryce Charles, Daniel MK Cohen, Arnie Pantoja, Charlie Schlatter, Kevin Michael Richardson, Carolyn Hennesy, Nik Dodani, Betsy Sodaro, Lisa Kay Jennings, Chandni Parekh, Todd Haberkorn, Ryan Garcia, Mike Rivkin and Chester Rushing.
