Moonbug Channel Launches in Portuguese

Moonbug Entertainment has expanded its partnership with MultiChoice Media to launch the first Portuguese-language version of the Moonbug Channel in Angola and Mozambique on DStv.

The new version of the Moonbug Channel features CoComelon, Blippi, Little Angel, Gecko’s Garage, Morphle and Oddbods in Portuguese. The shows will also be available on-demand in Portuguese for DStv subscribers in Angola and Mozambique.

The English-language version of the channel has been available to DStv’s 21.7 million subscribers across 45 African countries since 2022.

Moonbug plans to bring the Portuguese-language version of the channel to other Portuguese-speaking countries around the world.
