Ferly’s animated series Momolu and Friends has been picked up in the U.K. to air on the dedicated preschool block of ITVBe.

A co-production with Canada-based Yellow Animation, Belgium’s Digital Graphics and Germany’s ATMOSPHERE Media, the 2D animated Momolu and Friends follows a gentle, unassuming panda with a knack for stumbling into funny situations requiring his help. The ITV deal follows on recent agreements with TVOkids (Canada), Knowledge (Canada), YLE (Finland) and SRC (Société Radio-Canada).

Laura Nevanlinna, CEO of Ferly, said: “The Momolu brand is designed to help young children navigate a world that is becoming more complicated, but in a way that is fun, exciting, and allows their imaginations to take them to wonderful worlds. We’re looking forward to bringing the universe of Momolu and all of its charming stories and characters into the U.K. This deal with ITV allows us to continue encouraging children and families to get creative and help raise well-rounded, happy people.”

Darren Nartey, acquisitions manager for films and Kids at ITV, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be bringing Momolu and Friends to littlebe. It is an exciting and engaging series that will prove popular with our preschool audience.”
