Ahead of MIPCOM, Mediatoon Distribution has expanded its offering with two TV specials and a feature film.

The company is set to launch Martin Morning: The Chinese Mystery, an adventure feature film aimed at family audiences. “Ready for delivery, the movie is a spin-off of the beloved character from the four-season animated series,” said Morgann Favennec, deputy managing director of Mediatoon Distribution.

Zoobox is a preschool stop-motion adventure following a curious kangaroo that loses her parents after boarding a boat, while Venice, the Most Ancient City of the Future is a kids’ and family time-traveling adventure.

“We are excited to attend MIPCOM with such a diverse slate, showcasing well-established IPs and original concepts. Highlighting the variety of talents, narrative tons and visual styles in animation remains a top priority for us as distributors,” said Favennec.

Belfort & Lupin features on the Ellipse Animation slate that Mediatoon Distribution is presenting. The comedy series follows the adventures of a dog who’s lost his sense of smell and a scrappy wolf, both surrounded by the exotic animals of a 17th-century royal court.

“We are also very excited to present The Marsupilamis,” adds Favennec. “Our reboot of this timeless IP through a comedy show with top-tier 3D animation refreshes the brand.” The company is also highlighting Martin Morning: The Chinese Mystery, a feature film aimed at family audiences.
