Max Original Gremlins: The Wild Batch Returning

The Max original animated series Gremlins: The Wild Batch is returning in April with the second half of season two.

The next five-episode release will give access to binge the season in its entirety. Simu Liu joins the main voice cast in season two alongside returning cast members Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, Izaac Wang, AJ LoCascio, Gabrielle Nevaeh and George Takei. The new episodes include among its guest cast members Timothy Olyphant and Robin Weigert. Yvette Nicole Brown and Sung Won Cho will also appear as guest voices in later episodes.

The series is produced by Amblin Television in association with Warner Bros. Animation. Steven Spielberg serves as executive producer, along with Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey, presidents of Amblin Television, and Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios. Tze Chun serves as showrunner and executive producer. Brendan Hay serves as executive producer with Michael Chang and Dan Krall serving as supervising producers. Joe Dante serves as consulting producer.

Season two takes place one year after the events of season one, which serves as a prequel to the movie franchise.
