MarVista Appoints Yo-Kai Watch L&M Agent in LatAm

LOS ANGELES: MarVista Entertainment has tapped Tycoon Enterprises as the pan-Latin America licensing agent for Yo-Kai Watch.

Tycoon Enterprises is developing a strategic licensing and merchandising program in the region based on the franchise. Tycoon will build on the brand’s multimedia and cross-platform identity, with categories such as toys, apparel, accessories, school supplies, electronics, collectibles, novelty and publishing. The program will begin to roll out this holiday season, continuing into early 2017.

MarVista acquired all Latin American rights to the hit property, which includes an animated TV show and all licensing and merchandising rights, from Level-5 last year. Yo-Kai Watch is slated to launch on Disney XD in Latin America on June 13.
