LoliRock Takes Off in France & Italy

LONDON: Zodiak Kids girls’ property LoliRock is set to roll out across France and Italy this spring with new episodes and licensing and marketing campaigns.

France Télévisions will launch 13 new episodes of LoliRock season one early next month on France 4. Disney France will air new episodes in May, while in Italy, DeAgostini Editore’s Super! DTT channel will launch the show next month. LoliRock follows the journey of Iris, a spirited teenage girl with a beautiful voice who joins the girl band LoliRock and sees her life change forever as a new world of music, mystery and magical powers opens up to her.

DeAgostini Editore is on board as the consumer products agent for LoliRock in Italy and has planned a comprehensive marketing campaign to tie in with the launch of the series. The company will conduct a casting event offering young girls the chance to become a new LoliRock girl. DeAgostini Editore is running a widespread outdoor media campaign throughout Milan, Rome, Turin, Naples, Venice, Verona and other major Italian cities.

Zodiak Kids’s LoliRock consumer website currently draws more than 20,000 sessions per month on the France Télévisions digital platform Ludo. The standalone website features videos, quizzes, karaoke games, photos and a live messaging board for fans to interact. Following the success of a promotion with McDonald’s last year, France Télévisions, Zodiak Kids’s licensing agent in France, has secured a promotion this spring with Quick restaurants across the territory for LoliRock.

Zodiak Kids own worldwide distribution and licensing rights to LoliRock.
