Lauren Marriott Departs Paramount

Lauren Marriott, who most recently served as senior VP of content partnerships and brand strategy at Paramount Global Content Distribution, is exiting the company after 18 years.

Marriott joined Viacom (now Paramount) in 2008 and held various regional sales roles before leading the international content licensing division from 2017 to 2021. Throughout her tenure, Marriott oversaw the strategy for SpongeBob SquarePants and helped steer PAW Patrol to become the franchise it is now.

In a post on LinkedIn, Marriot said, “The company is very different today to the one I joined 18 years ago, but the people I have worked with during those years will always be the number one standout highlight of my tenure—quite simply the most incredible team and extended team, and I am grateful to each and every one for making this the job of a lifetime.”

She added, “I will be taking a break to recharge, and then I’m excited for the dawn of a new era!”
