Korea’s Aanaxion Studio Launches Kids & Family Division

The Seoul-based production company Aanaxion Studio has tapped 4Kids veteran Norman Grossfeld to lead its new kids’ and family content subsidiary, Konfetti Studios.

The venture will focus on kids’ and family IP, employing a franchise-led strategy, and aim to capitalize on the surging interest in Korean content.

Grossfeld, the former president of 4Kids Productions, who helped to launch Pokémon globally, commented: “Konfetti is designed for today’s audience. We’re creating brands that celebrate kids, spark smiles and get toes tapping. Fresh IP made for their world—filled with fun and built to travel.”

The initial slate includes NANOPOP, aimed at tween and teen music fans; Sumomojo and the preschool show Hugglebops.

“Seeing our long-term planning and collaboration with Norman come to fruition has been both a joy and deeply rewarding,” said Bong-Seob Mun, president of Aanaxion Studio. “He’s a big kid with big ideas, and his passion for creating unforgettable content is contagious. I’m excited for the world to see what we’re building together.”
