GREENWICH/NEW YORK: 41 Entertainment (41e) and Arad Animation have granted C-Life Group a license to produce apparel in the U.S. based on the upcoming Kong: King of the Apes cartoon.

Through the deal, C-Life will launch T-shirts, fashion tops and bottoms, fleece and swimwear for men, juniors, boys, girls and toddlers. The Kong series is due out globally on Netflix in spring 2016.

Anna Kislevitz, the director of global licensing and merchandising at 41e, remarked: “We are proud to add C-Life to our growing list of high-quality licensees worldwide, including MGA, Komar, FAB NY and now C-Life. The response in the United States and at Brand Licensing in London was very strong.”

“We are really pleased to partner with 41e on Kong,” said Denise Carranza, the director of licensing at C-Life. “With Avi Arad producing, we expect that this Kong project will be bigger than life!”
