Konami Cross Media NY Signs New Yu-Gi-Oh! Licensees

Konami Cross Media NY has signed four new licensing agreements for Yu-Gi-Oh! in honor of the trading card game’s 25th anniversary.

Youtooz will bring memorable Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom moments to life by creating figures based on memes. The collectibles will be available online in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the U.K. and Australia.

Ripple Junction will develop and release Yu-Gi-Oh! T-shirts, fleece, fashion tops, bottoms, sleep and lounge wear and accessories such as headwear, socks, throw blankets, bags, boxer shorts and cell phone accessories. The collection will be available in the U.S. and Canada.

Displate will offer metallic wall art posters for those looking for Yu-Gi-Oh! home decor. The posters will be available worldwide, excluding Asia.

Lastly, Kid’Abord will create a line of Yu-Gi-Oh!-inspired back-to-school items for fans in France and French-speaking territories. The collection will feature backpacks, trolly bags, satchels, pencil cases and diary books.

Most of the products from these new licensees will launch starting this year, continuing throughout the 25th anniversary celebration.
