Kidoodle.TV’s Brenda Bisner

Brenda Bisner, senior VP of content and business development at Kidoodle.TV, sat down with TV Kids to discuss the platform’s unique positioning in the streaming landscape, the types of content she’s looking for to add to its already robust slate and future plans for stepping into the co-production space.

Positioned as a safe alternative to YouTube, Kidoodle.TV is a video platform that reaches children under 12 in over 140 countries and delivers a curated selection of over 7,000 episodes of content from all around the globe. Kidoodle.TV is available across multiple devices—iOS, Android, MACs, PCs, Roku, Apple TV and Chromecast—and even trademarked “Safe Streaming™” as part of its mission to bring age-appropriate content that kids love and that parents and caregivers can trust their kids streaming. In a COPPA-compliant ecosystem actually made for children, every piece of content, including adverts, is hand-picked and approved by humans, not algorithms. For content providers, Kidoodle.TV represents a way to monetize their AVOD rights, meaning a new-found revenue stream in the industry.
