Kavaleer Expands Creative Team

Irish animation studio Kavaleer Productions has hired producers Alan Keane and Geraldine Weber to aid in its growth phase.

Keane, who has been appointed development producer, most recently served as head writer and executive story editor on the TV adaptation of Sony Animation’s feature film franchise Open Season. Weber, who has been tapped as producer, has worked on 3D animated series such as Stinky & Dirty, Eva the Owlet, Chico Bon Bon Monkey and more.

The two producers join after a busy year for Kavaleer, which earned 15 award nominations, including one BAFTA, two Royal Television Society awards, one Broadcast Award, ten Irish Animation Awards and one Pulcinella Award.
