Hero4Hire Taps New Creative Director

The animation and production studio Hero4Hire Creative has appointed former BIGSTAR Art Director Jane Wu as creative director.

Wu brings more than 13 years of experience in art direction and animation design to the role. Her filmography includes Sid the Science Kid (The Jim Henson Company/PBS KIDS), as well as commercials for major brands such as Nickelodeon.

Other titles Wu has worked on include What We Do in the Shadows (FX), Tidying Up with Marie Kondo (Netflix) and Soul of a Nation (ABC). She has art directed and worked on commercials for AMC’s Preacher and The Walking Dead and FOX’s The Kid Who Would Be King and Family Guy, as well as brands such as IKEA, Coca-Cola, New York Times, WWE and Stella Artois.

“Jane’s design expertise and talent floored us from the start,” said Evan Sussman, executive creative director. “We’re excited to have her as part of our growing team.”

Wu added, “I’m thrilled to join Hero4Hire because of their vibrant and fun body of work, and I’m excited to grow here as a creative leader and an artist!”
