HappyKids Debuts Brand-New Blippi Episodes

Future Today’s AVOD kids’ channel HappyKids has signed a deal to exclusively premiere 20 new episodes of Blippi.

The live-action program takes kids on field trips to meet new people, explore new words and learn about different places. In addition to new episodes of Blippi, seven hours of Meekah content, featuring Blippi’s best friend, are also available on HappyKids.

Blippi earns more than 1 billion monthly views on YouTube. The franchise has expanded rapidly since it was acquired by Moonbug in 2020. It is now available in more than 20 languages, including ASL.

“The competition for viewership in ad-supported streaming is fierce as more platforms emerge,” said David Di Lorenzo, senior VP of kids and family at HappyKids. “As audiences make decisions on where to spend their time and attention, having exclusive content is critical, and we continue to build on an unmatched content library through exclusive deals and original programming. We’re excited to extend our special relationship with Blippi and Moonbug. They recognize that our HappyKids audience and our access to top advertisers is a unique opportunity for their content.”

“Ensuring more families and kids across the globe have access to our beloved characters and storylines is one of our key goals,” said Andy Yeatman, managing director for the Americas at Moonbug Entertainment. “HappyKids has proven to be a great partner, distributing and elevating our library of content, and we’re excited to expand our partnership.”

“As the streaming landscape gets more cluttered, viewers and brands are seeking out high-quality, exclusive content,” added Vikrant Mathur, co-founder of HappyKids. “We’re thrilled to be the only provider in streaming with this programming.”
