HALO Effect Episode Spotlights Hospitalized Children

NEW YORK: A new episode of Nickelodeon’s The HALO Effect, slated for broadcast tonight, focuses on a teenage boy from New York who helps bring happiness to sick children.

The episode, titled “Little Saint Nick,” will follow 17-year-old Raymond Mohler, Jr., who provides fun activities and toys to distract kids who are in the hospital. In recognition of his efforts, Nickelodeon is giving a $10,000 grant to Mohler’s Little Saint Nick Foundation. The episode will air tonight at 8:30 p.m. It will have an encore on March 17 at 7:30 p.m. on Nicktoons and on March 19 at 9:30 p.m. on TeenNick.

The HALO Effect spotlights teens who “help and lead others” in their community. The initiative launched in 2013 and was built upon Nickelodeon’s annual HALO Awards concert. The HALO Effect monthly series is hosted by Sydney Park (Instant Mom). It is executive produced by Nick Cannon and NCredible Enterainment, as well as Morgan Spurlock, Richard Arlook, Jeremy Chilnick, Matthew Galkin and Ethan Goldman of Warrior Poets.
