BBC Children’s and Education has picked up Rainbow’s action series Gormiti—The New Era for a spring debut on CBBC and BBC iPlayer.
Part of the Gormiti franchise, Gormiti—The New Era follows four young heroes from Earth who are called to save the fantasy realm of Gorm from war and destruction. The series is produced with Giochi Preziosi, which created the original IP in 2005.
Gormiti—The New Era has already broadcast in Spain on Clan; France on Gulli; Greece on Nickelodeon; and Italy on Rai 2, Rai Gulp and RaiPlay.
