Gigglebug Entertainment Expands Team

Bolstering its team, the Nordic animation studio Gigglebug Entertainment has named Lucy Pryke as creative producer and Jarkko Nordlund as board member and special advisor.

Pryke has a wealth of experience in developing and producing children’s animation, including more than three years as a senior manager in animation at Disney EMEA, where she worked on Sadie Sparks and with Gigglebug on 101 Dalmatian Street. Nordlund’s experience includes stints as CEO for MTV Oy and as managing director for Universal Music Finland and Baltics, Viasat and Canal+.

The appointments follow the recent commissions of two shows based on original ideas and development from Gigglebug. The Unstoppable Yellow Yeti has been commissioned by Disney EMEA and Nordic broadcasters YLE, DR, NRK and SVT. Best and Bester was greenlit by Nickelodeon for the broadcaster’s first-ever Finnish show.
