Southwest Airlines has added three of Genius Brands International’s animated kids’ properties, including the music-focused SpacePOP and Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab, to its inflight entertainment portal.

In addition to SpacePOP and Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab, Baby Genius will become available for the first time inflight on customers’ personal devices in July. The properties will be offered on Southwest Airlines’ WiFi-equipped flights across the U.S.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Southwest to bring three of our most popular kids’ series to their customers,” said Stone Newman, the president of global consumer products, worldwide content sales and marketing at Genius Brands. “Finding new distribution channels to engage consumers regardless of where they may be is just as critical as developing quality content, and this partnership represents an exciting new channel for us.”

“We always aim to provide an exceptional customer experience for our passengers of all ages, and expanding our kids’ entertainment offerings reflects that commitment,” added Tara Bamburg, the associate manager of inflight entertainment at Southwest Airlines. “We look forward to bringing Genius Brands’ family-friendly programming to WiFi-equipped flights across the country.”
