Gaumont Taps Creative Director for Animation & Family

Gaumont has appointed Alex Soto, a former Spin Master Entertainment exec, as creative director for the company’s animation and family group.

In his newly created position, Soto will work under Terry Kalagian, senior VP for the group, while also collaborating with Kimberly Dennison and Gaelle Guiny, VPs of creative development in the U.S. and Paris offices, respectively. He will oversee the creative vision of Gaumont’s series, building the creative teams for each project in development.

Previously, Soto was the executive of creative development for Spin Master Entertainment. Earlier in his career, he spent two years serving in a directing role at Sony Pictures Animation.
