Galapagos X Season Two Commissioned

TVOkids, SRC Radio-Canada, Knowledge Kids and TFO have commissioned a second 26-episode season of Galapagos X.

The series sees four explorers from the future team up with a blue-footed booby bird to prevent future disasters. Season two will introduce the evil twin of power-hungry media mogul Doc Crock, Countess Crock, taking the climate-saving adventures to new heights.

Season one is airing in Canada on TVOkids and Knowledge Kids in English and on TFO and SRC Radio-Canada in French.

Galapagos X is produced by Big Bad Boo Studios and counts the Shaw Rocket Fund and Canada Media Fund as additional partners.

Outside of Canada, the series airs on Mediacorp’s Okto in Singapore, as well as Edye, VmeKids in Spanish. It will be launching later this year in German on ORF Austria.

“We are so excited to introduce Countess Crock and her gang of disgruntled part-time evil-doers,” said Shabnam Rezaei, the show’s creator.
