The new Entertainment One (eOne) animated preschool property Ricky Zoom is set to be broadcast on Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse in Canada.

The first season of the series is slated to bow on Treehouse on October 5. This broadcast partnership follows Nickelodeon’s acquisition of the broadcast rights to Ricky Zoom in the U.S. and Nelvana’s appointment as licensing agent for the title for the region across all categories.

Ricky Zoom is also slated to air on Nick Jr. and Channel 5’s Milkshake (the U.K.), Super RTL (Germany), Clan TV (Spain), Gulli (France), Rai (Italy), Youku (China), Discovery Kids (Latin America), Karusel (Russia), Minika Cocuk (Turkey) and Spacetoon (MENA), with additional deals in the pipeline.

Daniel Eves, senior VP of TV networks for Corus Entertainment, said: “eOne has an unparalleled track record of award-winning preschool properties, which is why we’re revved up to add Ricky Zoom to the Treehouse schedule and deliver another soon-to-be family favorite to Canadian audiences. Kids will love this vibrant, action-packed series and parents will love how it is rooted in storytelling and relatable lessons about growing up and helping others.”
