The Irish production company elk.studios has rebranded and bolstered its team with new hires, including Brian Gilmore and Rob Cullen.

Gilmore, a veteran of over 30 years who has worked with Brown Bag Films, Boulder Media and more, will serve as head of studio. Cullen, an Emmy-nominated director, writer and artist, will act as a creative advisor.

L.A.-based veteran producer Lisa Furlong Jones has joined the team as a producing advisor, and Maeve McAdam has been promoted to financial advisor.

The rebrand is part of a major overhaul of the company, which includes an investment of over €500,000 in updating its pipeline and infrastructure.

“We’ve been working internally on upgrading our studio to next-generation capability for our service clients and developing our own slate of projects, which we’re really excited to be bringing to market, starting at Kidscreen 2024,” said Ian Hamilton, founder of elk.studios.
