El Reino Infantil Appoints New CEO

Felipe de Stefani has been appointed as the new CEO of El Reino Infantil, replacing Kuky Pumar, who will now act as founder and chairman of the group.

“A company’s success is rooted in talent and vision for the future,” said Pumar. “We have an exceptional team, aligned with our values and purpose, but our healthy ambition mandates that we take it further. At this new stage of the company, I was looking for a disruptive and experienced CEO who is not afraid to defy the status quo in an increasingly atomized and changing industry. I strongly believe that Felipe has those qualities.”

“At El Reino Infantil, we seek to go further: not only do we create and distribute innovative content, but we also develop ecosystems between digital and offline experiences for a terribly demanding young audience,” he continued. “Under Felipe’s seasoned leadership, our teams will continue to work on the company’s global expansion, making the most of technology and creativity in order to consolidate our position among our future competitors.”

“I wish to thank Kuky for trusting me at this new stage of El Reino Infantil,” said de Stefani. “I am certain that, alongside the company’s team of young talents and by maximizing our franchises’ distinctive DNA, we will go for new challenges in order to continue to expand this company that is a source of pride for our region, because of its innovation in terms of content that already makes part of our children’s formative years, and also because of its impact on mass audiences and its global positioning.”

De Stefani brings 20 years of experience to the position. In his last role, he served as country manager of Argentina and marketing senior VP for LatAm at Warner Bros. Discovery, where he led the marketing strategies for the company’s entire brand portfolio. He also held various leadership positions at Turner, WarnerMedia and HBO, both in Latin America and the U.S. As CEO, he will report to Pumar.
