Eddie Is a Yeti Rolls Out on Toon Goggles

LOS ANGELES: The first five episodes of the 3D animated short-form children’s series Eddie Is a Yeti have launched via the Toon Goggles platform.

Eddie Is a Yeti, for kids aged 4 to 7, follows the adventures of Eddie, who happens to be a yeti, and his best friend, 9-year-old Polly. It’s Polly’s job to keep Eddie in disguise and out of trouble, while also making sure that he’s always entertained. Eddie Is a Yeti is being promoted across the Toon Goggles SVOD platform in more than 196 countries, online, and as an app on the iTunes App Store (for iOS), Google Play (for Android), Windows 8, and on all Sony phones and tablets.

Toon Goggles is also preinstalled on a variety of devices. Toon Goggles can be found on the Sharp Aquos LED TV, Techno Source’s Kurio7 Android Tablet for Families, Oregon Scientific’s Meep! Tablets, Barnes & Noble’s Nook HD and Nook HD+, Roku, and on several other smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and set-top boxes.

Eddie Is a Yeti is co-produced by Toon Goggles and Mondo TV, which is handling overseas distribution and merchandising. The show has a non-dialogue, action-based format. Several broadcast deals are in place worldwide.

Additionally, Lawless Entertainment, the licensing, merchandising and publishing agent for Eddie Is a Yeti in North America, will present the property at Licensing Expo. The company is seeking licensees for publishing, children’s apparel, toys, games, back-to-school accessories and more.
