Droners to Make U.K. Linear Debut on POP

Cyber Group Studios’ Droners is set to make its U.K. linear premiere on the children’s channel POP next month.

The 26×22-minute series is produced by Cyber Group Studios and co-produced by La Chouette Compagnie and Supamonks. It will begin airing on POP from March 6.

In Terraqua, a world that is 95 percent covered in water, the eco-technology genius Wyatt Whale has organized the Whale Cup, a drone race competition that will determine his future apprentice. Young droners Corto, Mouse and Enki—competing as Team Tiki—are determined to win the competition, but unlike their opponents, they’re not just after glory; becoming Wyatt Whale’s new apprentices is also their only chance to access the latest eco-technology and prevent their island from sinking.
