NBCUniversal International Networks (NBCUIN) has inked a carriage deal for its DreamWorks channel with Kbro, the largest multi-system cable-TV operator in Taiwan.

DreamWorks, a 24-hour HD channel dedicated to kids and family entertainment, will be available in English and Mandarin as part of the HD99 High Definition Channel package on Kbro. DreamWorks signature series such as Dragons: Race to the Edge from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! from the Trolls franchise and the Emmy-winning original series from Guillermo del Toro, Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, will be available on the channel.

The deal marks the sixth carriage deal for DreamWorks in the country. The channel is also available on Chunghwa Telecom MOD, HYA Cable TV, Ta Yang Cable TV, Taiwan Optical Platform and Taiwan Broadband Communications.

“We’re proud to partner with the largest multi-system operator in Taiwan, extending NBCUniversal International Networks’ reach through our partners at Kbro and bringing DreamWorks’ animated series and beloved characters into more households across Taiwan,” said Christine Fellowes, managing director at NBCUniversal International Networks for the Asia Pacific. “With NBCUIN’s channels’ portfolio of DIVA, E! and now DreamWorks available on Kbro, we offer a variety of entertainment experiences that appeal to the whole family.”
