Donkey Hodie & Daniel Tiger Return

The Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood spin-offs Donkey Hodie and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood have launched new episodes on PBS KIDS.

Donkey Hodie’s second season features the original series’ trolley as a real, moving vehicle character for the first time. It also introduces the new character Turtle-Lou, modeled after Mr. McFeely.

Other episodes in the series see returning characters such as Panda, Bob Dog, Grampy, Duck Duck and Clyde join Donkey Hodie for various adventures. They plant Dancing Dandelion seeds, help Duck Duck unravel her feelings and make up a quiet game, among other things.

The new Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood episodes feature new strategy songs to help preschoolers and their families prepare for back-to-school time. Throughout the new episodes, Daniel learns that his teacher is there to take care of him, everyone’s job is important, the value in asking to join in play and more.

Donkey Hodie is produced by Fred Rogers Productions and Spiffy Pictures.
