Disney’s Bizaardvark Renewed for Season 2

BURBANK: Disney Channel has committed to a second season of Bizaardvark, a live-action comedy from It’s a Laugh Productions.

Bizaardvark follows teen best friends Paige and Frankie as they express themselves through funny music videos on their vlog channel. The multi-camera series was created by Kyle Stegina and Josh Lehrman, and stars Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Hu, among others. The sophomore season will begin production in the next few months for broadcast in 2017.

Adam Bonnett, the executive VP of original programming at Disney Channels Worldwide, commented: “Our hope is that Bizaardvark inspires kids to embrace their own creativity and individuality, and encourages them to express themselves. We’re excited about the direction that executive producer Eric Friedman and the creative team have planned for the new season, which will continue to build on the series’ smart and clever storytelling.”
