Disney+ Orders New Chip ‘n’ Dale Original

Chip ‘n’ Dale, a new series announced by Disney at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, is set to be a Disney+ Original.

Currently in production, Chip ‘n’ Dale is a non-verbal comedy series featuring Disney’s beloved chipmunk troublemakers living life in the big city. The show, directed by Jean Cayrol and produced by Marc du Pontavice, is developed by Disney’s London-based animation team in collaboration with Xilam Animation in Paris. The 39×7-minute series will be fully produced by Xilam.

In other Disney+ news, the streaming platform has unveiled a logo and new details about Monsters at Work, another forthcoming original series. Inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. feature film, the series will return Billy Crystal and John Goodman to the roles of Mike and Sulley in addition to a slew of other returning and new voice talent. Monsters at Work is slated to premiere on Disney+ in 2020.
