Disney Television Animation Ups David Cobb

Disney Television Animation has promoted David Cobb, previously VP of business planning and strategy for Disney Channels, to senior VP of operations and content planning for Disney Branded Television.

In his new role, Cobb will oversee studio operations and the technology teams supporting Disney Television Animation, as well as the entertainment property acquisitions and partnerships for Disney Branded Television overall.

Cobb originally joined The Walt Disney Company in 1996 and has held positions in the Disney Consumer Products, Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Parks and Resorts divisions. He had served as VP of business planning and strategy for Disney Channels since 2010.
