Disney Channel Sets Mickey Mouse Christmas Special

BURBANK: Disney Channel has slated Duck the Halls: A Mickey Mouse Christmas Special to air tonight at 8:30 p.m.

The special will also be available on the Disney Channel app and Disney Channel VOD, and will air on Disney XD on Monday, December 12, at 8 p.m. In Duck the Halls: A Mickey Mouse Christmas Special, Donald Duck decides not to migrate south so that he can experience his first winter wonderland. To help Donald make the most out of Christmas, Mickey Mouse creates the ultimate list of holiday activities.

Part of the Emmy Award- and Annie Award-winning Mickey Mouse cartoons, the holiday special includes appearances by Uncle Scrooge McDuck, Professor Ludwig Von Drake, Gus Goose, Santa Claus, and Donald’s nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, among others. Original songs in the special include “Joy, O It’s Christmas Time” and “Jing-a-Ling-a-Ling.”

The special was written by Darrick Bachman. Paul Rudish is the executive producer and supervising director, Todd Popp is the line producer, and Alonso Ramirez Ramos and Dave Wesson are the directors. The music is by Christopher Willis. Jenny Gase-Baker and Joseph Holt served as art directors and Illya Owens was the editor.
