Discovery Enters Partnership with My Town Games

Discovery, Inc. has tied up with My Town Games to create co-branded gaming apps featuring open-ended play.

The co-venture will kick off later this summer with My Town Discovery, meant for players between the ages of 6 and 12. The game presents a virtual world where kids can hang out with friends and explore their community by shopping, seeing their school, going to the park, eating at a burger shop, playing mini games and visiting the Science Discovery Museum that My Town designed with the new Discovery #mindblown brand.

My Town Discovery is launching in the App Store and on Google Play as a week-long free trial, with players given the option to sign up for a monthly subscription. The game will also offer specially branded Discovery #mindblown content including “did you know…” facts. More games will be added in the coming months.
