DHX Television Rolls Out Family Channel App

TORONTO: DHX Television has launched the Family Channel App, a one-stop destination that delivers programming from Family Channel, Family CHRGD, Family Jr. and F2N to audiences on multiple devices.

The app, which is free to Family subscribers, offers more than 900 episodes across 40 series. Fans can tune into their favorite programs on demand, including The Next Step and Backstage for Family Channel, Gaming Show (In My Parents’ Garage) and Slugterra for Family CHRGD viewers, Teletubbies and Justin Time for preschoolers on Family Jr. and Degrassi: Next Class on F2N.

To mark the rollout of the Family Channel App, the Molly Ringwald sitcom Raising Expectations is available there for on-demand viewing ahead of its network debut on May 8.

To develop and launch the Family Channel App for iPhone and Android platforms, DHX Television partnered with media-app-solutions company Digiflare.
