DHX Media Reorganizes Management Teams

HALIFAX: DHX Media has made a number of immediately effective senior appointments as part of the company’s plan to combine its studio and distribution management teams and drive global growth strategies.

Anne Loi becomes executive VP of global operations, responsible for all studio and distribution group operations as well as worldwide technical services and business analytics. Josh Scherba was named executive VP of distribution and content, charged with creating and selling children’s and family programming. The two execs will report to Steven DeNure, DHX Media’s president and COO.

Meanwhile, Stephanie Betts was appointed senior VP of development and current series, working under Scherba. In her new role, she will continue to manage the company’s development slate while also contributing to the creative oversight of production for all DHX Media original programming.

In addition, Ken Faier becomes senior VP and executive producer for DHX Content, reporting to DeNure. He will continue to concentrate on new business, interactive and brand development.
