DeAPlaneta Scores Global Rights for Nina & Olga

DeAPlaneta Entertainment has signed a deal with Italy’s Enanimation and Australia’s Kreiworks to manage all media, licensing and digital rights for Nina & Olga around the globe, excluding Italy, Australia and North America.

Based on Nicoletta Costa’s Olga the Cloud book series, the preschool show follows 6-year-old Nina and her best friend, a cloud named Olga, as they embark on adventures with other friends and learn to manage their emotions.

The first season of Nina & Olga was released in 2021 on Italy’s Rai Yoyo. Season two is set to be delivered in 2024.

“With its charming and timeless 2D animation and the values it represents (environmental care, diversity, promoting of communication and understanding), Nina & Olga is an invaluable addition to the DeAPlaneta Entertainment catalog,” said Carlos Biern, director of distribution and content at DeAPlaneta Kids & Family. “Our agreement with the Italian company Enanimation is yet another example of DeAPlaneta Entertainment’s full commitment to support Italian-based creators and European animation.”
