Dandelooo is set to present its new 2D animated series A Day with the Dogs, adapted from the Les toutous books by Dorothée de Monfreid, at this year’s Cartoon Forum.

Directed by Cédric Guarneri, the series follows the adventures of a Saint Bernard who is overwhelmed by his eight crazy puppy cousins. In each episode, the dogs are confronted with a simple problem or desire for which they manage to find a complicated solution.

A Day with the Dogs is aimed at 4- to 7-year-olds and is co-produced by Dandelooo and Barcelona-based audiovisual production company Teidees.

Emmanuèle Pétry Sirvin, co-founder of Dandelooo, said, “We are very proud that the talented and successful creator Dorothée de Monfreid has chosen Dandelooo as the producer for her first adaptation to an animated series. A Day with the Dogs (Les toutous), rooted in the Normandy countryside, has a worldwide appeal thanks to the character-driven stories about a bunch of cousins on holiday. They are such lucky kids to enjoy this perfect vacation… well, almost perfect!”
