Technicolor Animation Productions has teamed up with France Télévisions and Gloob, Globosat’s kids’ channel in Brazil, to produce the new 26×22-minute animated show Team DroniX.

Team DroniX centers on three friends who meet in a high-tech academy, where they build a one-of-a-kind drone and compete against other students. Drone manufacturer Silverlit will serve as the property’s worldwide master toy partner. “We’re thrilled to introduce this original show with all of the outstanding partners that have been supporting Team DroniX’s vision since inception,” said Sandrine Nguyen, the managing director of Technicolor Animation Productions.

“We’re always looking for content that mixes adventure with other interesting elements, and Team DroniX is the perfect vehicle to offer boys and girls alike the chance to embark on thrilling adventures with Buck, Tim and Vicky—modern, diverse characters our audiences will care about and relate to—amidst the elaborate high-tech universe of drones,” noted Pierre Siracusa, the director of animation at France Télévisions.

“With powerful production, broadcast and toy experts behind the development of this project, we are very excited to join Team DroniX, and we are certain the show will be a hit,” stated Paula Taborda dos Guaranys, the head of content and programming at Gloob.

“As the leading worldwide manufacturer of drones, we have been amazed by the creative development of Team DroniX and are excited to join this adventure,” added Guillaume Coulaud, the marketing director at Silverlit. “As many projects have been introduced to us in recent months, Team DroniX stands out with its compelling characters, sense of fun, storytelling and overall design. We look forward to developing an incredible universe of toys for children to engage with the brand worldwide.”
