Cinekid Selects 22 Projects for 2025 Junior Co-Pro Market

Cinekid has selected 22 projects—16 films and 6 series—from 25 countries for the 2025 Junior Co-Production Market (JCM), taking place during Cinekid for Professionals.

“We were impressed by the outstanding quality of applications this year and are delighted to welcome new countries into the selection, underscoring the continued relevance of the JCM as a platform for launching children’s projects to the industry,” said Jessica Cohen, coordinator of Cinekid for Professionals. “Strengthened by our partnerships with markets worldwide, we look forward to further expanding the international potential of the selected projects through these collaborations.”

The selection process was no easy task!”

The series selected are Displaced Childhood, produced by Zenit Arti Audiovisive, Casablanca Film Production and Era Film; Hello, Neobiota!, produced by Storykid Studio; Macanudo: The Series, produced by Sun Creature, Mercury Filmworks and King Features Syndicate; Marnie Blarney, produced by ART4; Sketchopolis, produced by House of Strauss Studio; and The Star-Child, from Eat The Danger.

The selected films are Acorn’s Adventure, from Pure Shore and Fabian&Fred; Ananda, from Kalyana Shira Foundation; Crawlers, from Handmade Films in Norwegian Woods; Dreamscape, from Juliet at Pupkin; Dreamwalker, from Vivi Film; English Lesson, from Svitlofor Film, A-Film, Beep studio and Hobab; Everyone’s Sorry Nowadays, from De Mensen, Cala Film and Juliet at Pupkin; Handbook for Superheroes—Red Mask, from Stiller Studios AB; Khalo The Zmeyborn, from Chase A Cloud; Kid Hazard, from BAKING FILMS; Moss, from Imagic Tv; Seashells, from Kiné; Shenku, from Bellolandia; Splish Splash Forever!, from Catpics; The Cherry Tree, from Lime Film and Bilico; and Poli, from Bombillo Amarillo studio.

Of the selected projects, 14 are animated and 8 are live action.
