Cartoon Network Sets Adventure Time Miniseries

ATLANTA: Adventure Time is returning to Cartoon Network next month with an eight-part miniseries.

Adventure Time: Islands will run as a four-night special event from January 30 to February 2. Ahead of the linear premiere, fans will have the chance to purchase all eight episodes as well as new content on DVD, iTunes, Amazon Video and Google Play on January 24. In Adventure Time: Islands, Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada), Jake (John DiMaggio), BMO (Niki Yang) and Susan Strong (Jackie Buscarino) leave the Land of Ooo to embark on a quest of epic proportions across the ocean and into new lands.

Adventure Time: Islands comes on the heels of Adventure Time: Stakes, the series’ first eight-part miniseries following Marceline the Vampire Queen. Stakes debuted on Cartoon Network in November 2015. Adventure Time was created by Pendleton Ward and produced at Cartoon Network Studios.
