Cartoon Network Series Land on Amazon in India

Turner has inked a licensing deal with Amazon Prime Video that sees a variety of Cartoon Network programming become available for streaming on the SVOD service in India.

Under the agreement, a number of animated children’s series from Cartoon Network will be offered on Amazon Prime Video in India. Titles include Ben 10 (classic), Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10 Omniverse, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls (classic), Kumbh Karan, Roll No. 21 and Dexter’s Laboratory. The content will be part of the Kids & Family TV section.

“Kids today are consuming and engaging with their favorite content across diverse screens such as computers and mobile screens,” Turner said in a press release announcing the deal. “This is increasing with the emergence of new OTT platforms and the rise in use of apps for games as an entertainment and learning activity.
