CAKE has licensed the animated comedy Mush-Mush and the Mushables to Turner’s Boomerang for broadcast internationally starting in 2020.

Mush-Mush and the Mushables follows the adventures of the titular character and his friends in a forest. The 52×11-minute CGI series was created by Flemish artist Elfriede de Rooster. It is made by La Cabane Productions and Thuristar in association with CAKE.

Mush-Mush and the Mushables will air internationally on Boomerange, in addition to Turner’s Cartoon Network, Boing and POGO in select markets. The show is produced by Perrine Gauthier and directed by Joeri Christiaen.

Ed Galton, the CCO and managing director at CAKE, commented: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Turner on the forthcoming Mush-Mush and the Mushables. Perrine, Joeri and their team are bringing to life the original drawings to create an engaging, warmhearted series about a community of lovable mushrooms and their funny adventures that children everywhere will enjoy.”
