CAKE Scores Number of Asian Sales

CAKE has sold over 500 episodes of its series to partners in China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Sales were secured in China, with CAKE partnering with Beijing TFF on Tiny Wonders and the Robin Hood adventure Sherwood. Shanghai Senyu acquired the culinary series Cooking Buddies; Youku picked up two seasons of the Malaysian superhero series Mechamato; and Newnot Studio acquired the second season of the space series Ready Jet Go!

In Hong Kong, PCCW bought Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super, non-dialogue slapstick comedy Cracké Family Scramble and The Mindful Adventures of Unicorn Island. They will also broadcast the 3D animated series Moley as part of a distribution deal with Bomanbridge. RTHK acquired seasons three and four of stop-motion series Kiri and Lou, and a second season of Mush-Mush & The Mushables. In Malaysia, Juita Viden picked up two seasons of preschool hit Yoko.
