CAKE Sends Over 1,000 Episodes to Latin America

CAKE has signed a slew of deals covering more than 1,000 episodes of its hit animated series with companies in Latin America.

Warner Bros. Discovery picked up two seasons of the school-based drama Dodo, two seasons of the brand-new Total Drama Island series and the Emmy-nominated preschool show Tish Tash for the region.

In Brazil, Globosat Brasil acquired 284 episodes for its SVOD platform, including the space adventure series Space Racers and Ready Jet Go!, as well as the preschool animated show Pablo, which reflects the real-life experiences of children with autism. In addition, Globosat picked up 78 episodes of the BAFTA-nominated preschool series Kiri and Lou for its TV and SVOD services.

Canela TV, meanwhile, signed a deal for over 600 episodes of content for Latin America and the Hispanic U.S., including 65 episodes of Angry Birds content, Total Drama Island, Pablo and Trunk Train.
