CAKE Finalizes Multiple Agreements in Asia

CAKE has secured deals with broadcasters in Asia for a number of its animated series, including Pablo and Ready Jet Go!

More than 250 episodes of CAKE’s preschool content were snapped up by Tencent in China. In addition to Pablo and season two of Ready Jet Go!, Toby’s Travelling Circus and both installments of Poppy Cat are heading to the SVOD platform. Hareport was licensed by Shanghai Senyu, while Pablo and Olobob Top were picked up by Mango TV.

Korea’s C&J acquired 272 episodes of preschool programming, including Ella Bella Bingo and Poppy Cat, as well as both seasons of Space Racers. Singapore’s Mediacorp signed deals for Astroblast! and Ready Jet Go!, as well as CAKE’s co-production Botternikes & Gumbles. Lastly, Thailand’s True Corp licensed Pablo and Olobob Top in a package that includes all Angry Birds television content and the Christmas special Frozen in Time.
