Boat Rocker Secures Kids’ & Family Sales

Boat Rocker has made a raft of sales across Europe, Canada, MENA and the Asia Pacific for Olga da Polga, The Next Step and The Strange Chores.

The mixed-media series Olga da Polga, produced by Maramedia and based on the best-selling books from Paddington Bear creator Michael Bond, has been licensed to NRK in Norway, RTÉ in Ireland and TVO in Canada.

Season nine of the live-action scripted series The Next Step has been sold to multiple global broadcasters and streamers, including Corus in Canada and RTÉ, along with ABC and Stan in Australia. That season of the series is produced by Boat Rocker with the participation of the Shaw Rocket Fund and is distributed globally by Boat Rocker and BBC Studios.

Season three of the 2D animation The Strange Chores, produced by Ludo Studio and Media World Pictures, has been acquired by RTÉ, TVB in Hong Kong, Turner Broadcasting for Italy and MBC for MENA.
