BBC Studios and the South Korean IPTV service provider KT Corporation have renewed their partnership for Kids Land Nature Encyclopedia season three.

The partnership will see the little penguin Pororo as the main narrator of the BBC Studios’ natural-history content. The Kids Land Nature Encyclopedia series combines live-action footage gathered from BBC Studios natural-history documentaries with animated narration by Iconix’s Pororo and aims to cultivate cognitive, observational and inquiry skills in young children.

Season three has “Wild Metropolis” and “Animal Babies: First Year on Earth” among the 20×5-minute offering. Kids Land Nature Encyclopedia season three is now available on Olleh TV.

Phil Hardman, senior VP and general manager for BBC Studios Asia, said, “We are excited to continue our partnership with KT Corporation, where we aim to entertain and educate a family audience by bringing together world-class factual content from BBC Studios with Iconix’s ever-popular Pororo. As the BBC marks its centenary year, we are proud of the deep relationships established with our partners. We will continue to work with them to find innovative and meaningful ways to connect with audiences across Asia.”

KT Corporation stated, “Kids Land Nature Encyclopedia has established itself as a popular, steady representative of the Kids Land franchise. We are delighted to work with a reputable partner like BBC Studios to produce this series and hope this collaboration will continue for a long time to come, enabling us to consistently provide high-quality content to children.”
