Autism Soccer, a Miami-based nonprofit organization that teaches soccer skills to children with autism, is taking part in the animated series Adrian & Friends.

The 52×11-minute comedy-adventure series carries the tagline “We are all different yet the same.” It tells the story of Adrian, a boy with autism, who—alongside his friends and dog, Toby—discovers the wonders of the world through soccer. The aim of the series is to promote inclusion, respect, education, understanding and fraternity.

Adrian & Friends is a Comet Entertainment and Mana T Studios joint production.

The official presentation of the series’ pilot will take place on April 6 during the first annual Autism Soccer Walk in Hialeah, Florida. The event is presented in partnership with the U.S. Embassy of Qatar, the country that will host the World Cup in 2022, and will be attended by former Colombian soccer star Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama.
