Australia’s Nine Picks Up Earth to Luna!

All five seasons of Earth to Luna!, an International Emmy-nominated preschool animated series, have been picked up by Nine in Australia.

Earth to Luna! follows the adventures of the titular 6-year-old who is passionately in love with science. From Monster Entertainment in co-production with Pinguim Content and Discovery Kids Latin America, the STEM-based series is now available in 96 countries around the world. Nine is slated to give the series its Australian TV premiere on August 24 on 9GO!.

Helping kids’ cope with the coronavirus pandemic, Earth to Luna! features an episode about the importance of washing one’s hands and how to do so effectively. There is also a brochure available in which Luna teaches children about COVID-19 and how to keep themselves safe, as well as activities that parents can print and use to keep their children amused at home. Further, the series has inspired a special project to promote the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN.

In Earth to Luna! licensing and merchandising news, Banter Toys has signed on as the exclusive distributor for toys and other licensed products in Australia and New Zealand.
